Dr. S. K. Ghosh (S. K. Ghosh Associates, USA)

Dr. S. K. Ghosh is known internationally for his work in earthquake engineering. He has influenced seismic design provisions in the United States for many years by serving on or chairing numerous committees and advisory panels. He specializes in the analysis and design, including wind and earthquake resistant design, of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures. Dr. Ghosh is active on many national technical committees and is a fellow of ASCE, SEI, ACI, and PCI. He is a member of ACI Committee 318, and the ASCE 7 Standard Committee.

 

Prof. Dr. Donguk Choi (Hankyong National University, South Korea)

Prof. Dr. Donguk Choi is the Professor at the School of Architectural Engineering and Architecture of Hankyong National University since 1996. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Asian Concrete Federation since 2015 as well as the Vice President of Korea Concrete Institute (KCI) and Asian Concrete Institute (ACF) in 2011-2012.

His research interest is structural engineering in the area of mechanical anchorages including headed reinforcement, use of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) materials in concrete, recycled aggregate concrete, and others. Sustainable construction materials is also his reseach interest including application of phase change materials (PCM) to concrete, light-weight concrete, and general sustainability topic.

 

Prof. Dr. Bonaventura H. W. Hadikusumo (Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand)

Prof. Dr. Hadikusumo joined AIT as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) in July 2002 and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in April 2009 and now he was recently promoted to the rank of Professor.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Construction Management from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong in 2001. Prof. Dr. Hadikusumo graduated from AIT in 1998, during which he earned his Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Construction Management.  He took his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia in 1996.
Prof. Dr. Hadikusumo’s research encompasses the areas of construction information technology, construction project management, construction site safety, virtual reality application in construction, web-based project design and management, system dynamic simulation in construction, and construction site safety.

  

 

Prof. Ir. Leksmono Suryo Putranto, MT, Ph.D. (Universitas Tarumanagara, Indonesia)

Prof. Leksmono Suryo Putranto, MT, Ph.D. graduated as Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Universitas Indonesia and pursued the Master Programme in road system and road engineering in ITB. His Ph.D. title was obtained from Institute for Transport Studies, The University of Leeds, England. Beside teaching various courses about traffic, public transportation, and transportation in general in Undergraduate, Master, and Doctorate programme in Universitas Tarumangara, he also wrote books about transportation and traffic as well as producing various academic works and obtained the research grants/international seminar grants e.g. The Performance of Transportation Projects (2006-2010) in 8th International Conference on Traffic and Transportation Studies Changsha, China; Vehicle Composition and Lane Distribution in Multilane Highways in Indonesian Cities in 6th International Symposium on Highway Capacity and Quality of Services, Stockholm, Sweden; The Approach on Unsafe Behaviour of Indonesian Motorcyclists, and The Adjustment of Vehicle Distribution Coefficient in the Guideline of Flexible Pavement Thickness Design according to the Analysis of Traffic Distribution on Road Lanes. Prof Leksmono also received the award of Accomplished Lecturer I in Kopertis Region III.
